The Wakka (Anabracchium struthioforme) is a bizarre, bipedal, completely arm-less mammal, which lives in the South American grasslands circa 50 million years in the future.
Biology[]
Wakkas are digitigrade, cursorial bipeds, with three-toed feet, a long neck and tail, and no arms. They have evolved from rodents, but their dentition has changed to become better equipped for grazing. Their entire bodies are designed for running, to the point that they can assuredly outrun any predator, provided that they see it approaching.
In spite of physical similarities, they're only distantly-related to the Stricks, which share their same habitat.
