The Testadon (Armatechinos impenetrabilis) is a small insectivorous mammal known to inhabit temperate areas of Earth circa 50 million years in the future. This species is a descendant of modern-day hedgehogs, and has developed a new type of protective armor. Instead of spines, it possess a hinged carapace, which becomes an impenetrable sphere when the animal is rolled up.
