The Ravene (Vulpemys ferox), also known as the Temperate Ravene to distinguish it from its polar relative, is one of the several species of carnivorous rats which inhabit the world of 50 million years in the future, and a distant relative of the Falanx, the Rapide, the Janiset, the Bardelot, the Pytheron and the Distarterops.
Biology[]
As its name suggests, the Temperate Ravene inhabits temperate woodlands. Its size is comparable to that of a modern fox or wild cat, and its prey consists mostly of birds and small mammals. It uses its sharp incisors to stab prey to death before eating it.
