A Siegbarste is an ogre-like Wesen species, feared for its superhuman strength, vengeful nature, and for being extraordinarily hard to kill. They have been described as a very rare species.
Biology[]
Like all Wesen, Siegbarste are liminal beings which alternate between a human and a non-human form in a process known as woging. They have an enormously dense bone structure, thick skin, an unpleasant body odor, and naturally display a condition similar to congenial analgesia, in which their nerves have difficulty processing pain, thus giving them an abnormally high pain tolerance.
Members of this species are vulnerable to Siegbarste Gift: a rare plant which only grows on the north side of trees just below the timberline in Romania. The substance produced by this plant will poison the Siegbarste by calcifying their bones and shattering them from within.
Culture and society[]
Siegbarste are notoriously vengeful creatures which will hold grudges to the grave. Enclosed spaces make them irritable.
