The Pamthret (Vulpemustela acer) is a species of large, carnivorous mammal native to the coniferous forests of the Earth's Northern Continent circa 50 million years in the future. This puma-sized animal is a descendant of modern weasels.
With about two meters in length, the Pamthret is the apex predator in its ecosystem. They live in small family units and usually hunt in pairs by ambushing prey and bursting suddenly upon it. The Pamthret is also a relative of the Shurrack.
