Mongo is a 7 ft. tall monster, apparently created by Carl Chryniszzswics. He likes to come out at night, and has been seen by Carl's neighbor, Johnny Bravo, who mistook his sights of Mongo for some kind of nightmare. On his mother's orders, Johnny consulted with Suzy, who had a degree on psychology she got on the Internet, to try to pinpoint the source of these nightmares and cure them. Unbeknownst to them, of course, Mongo was actually real.
Biology[]
Johnny describes the "monsters" he saw on his alleged nightmares as being "7 ft tall, with scales and horrible dead eyes". It turns out Mongo is a green bipedal creature with an enormous mouth, a couple of sharp fangs, tentacular fingers and a large cyclopic eye with three smaller eyes positioned above it. Although he's capable of speaking, he usually just communicates with incoherent growls and ape-like noises.
History[]
Just after Suzy manages to psychoanalyze Johnny, Mongo breaks into the house, proving that he was real all along. Johnny and Suzy are terrified until Carl shows up to explain that the monster is his. After Johnny beats Carl - in retribution for having revived some repressed memories of Carl bullying him in school during the psychology session - Mongo is glad and quickly befriends Johnny, who invites the monster to eat some burgers with him.
