The Mishipeshu, a.k.a. Gichi-anami'e-bizhiw or Horned Water-Serpent Panther, is a type of semi-aquatic spirit originating from Lake Superior. Its appearance is reminiscent of a bipedal panther-like humanoid with a couple of horns on its head.
This intangible creature is capable of possessing human bodies and acts both as a protector of indigenous people and a vengeful killer of those who have wronged them.
