The shark from four movies made by the Syfy Channel. There have been three of them.
Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus[]
The Mega Shark made its debut in the 2009 movie Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus. It and a Giant Octopus were found frozen in a glacier but accidently released. Eventually, while locked in battle, the two of them sink and presumably die.
Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus[]
The Mega Shark returns in the 2010 movie Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus. This time it battles 150-foot long crocodile dubbed Crocosaurus. Both are killed by a undersea volcano erupting, detonating an unexploded nuclear torpedo that had been swallowed by the Mega Shark.
Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark[]
A different Mega Shark appears in the 2014 movie Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark, where it is incased in ice near Alexandria, Egypt but gets released. The U.S. Navy uses an equal sized Shark shaped submarine to kill it. Both Mega Shark and Mecha Shark are destroyed when the Mega Shark bites the side of the empty Mecha Shark, detonating an unfired torpedo.
Mega Shark vs. Kolossus[]
A third Mega Shark appears in the 2015 movie Mega Shark vs. Kolossus which aired July 18, 2015 at 9:00 PM on Syfy.
Mega Shark vs. Moby Dick[]
Mega Shark will return in Mega Shark vs. Moby Dick. Whether this is the same Mega Shark from the previous movie or a different Mega Shark is unknown.
Powers[]
The Mega Shark is strong enough to carry a tug boat in its mouth and throw it far enough and hard enough to have it crash into and decapitate the sphinx all the way from Alexandria.
