Hipparions were a species of early horse indigenous to the steppes of the nation of Kjeldor during Terisiare's last glaciation period. Like other Hipparions, it would have had two vestigial outer toes in addition to the hoof, which had atrophied to the point of being unable to touch the ground.
When the World Spell was cast and initiated the Thaw, the majority of the continent was flooded and the Hipparions were wiped out, though it seems their descendants survived in the form of everyday horses.
Notes[]
- Hipparion was a 1/3 white card that cost 1 white mana and 1 colorless to cast.
- They could not block any creatures with a power of 3 or greater unless the controller paid an additional 1 colorless mana.
- The Hipparions are based upon an actual extinct species, an early horse found in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America that existed on Earth between the Miocene and Pleistocene for 22 million years, from ~23 million years ago to 781,000 million years ago.
