The Herrerasaurus is one of the prehistoric species inhabiting the South American plateau known as Maple White Land. They are featured in the 1999 TV series Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World.

- This species doesn't appear in the original novel, written long before the genus Herrerasaurus was discovered.
- The Herrerasaurus has two crests on it's head similar to Dilophosaurus. The real life version never had crests on it's head.
