The Giant Toad is a creature that appears in the film Pan's Labyrinth.
The Toad is slightly different than the other real toads. It is large in size, feeds on bugs, and lives in a tree in the forest. But like normal toads, the giant toad's tongue is extremely long and sticky, perfect for grabbing small insects at a distance in order to feed. It appears when Ofelia encounters it during her first task to find the key in its stomach. She handed out the three objects, finding that they were large bugs, and fed them to the toad. Immediately, it begins to croak and vomited its entire stomach. As its body deflated like an oversized balloon, she was able to remove the key from its spilled innards.
