|Behind the Scenes|
The titular creatures from the 2012 movie Dragon Wasps.
They are large varied sized green and black wasps and bear a red stinger.
They can fly like normal wasps, typically in large swarms. Their name comes from their ability to breath fire.
Life Cycle Edit
Dragon Wasps start life as larvae, and will then infest a paralyzed host (often a human) and mature into a miniature version of their adult form, which then emerges from the host. This suggests that they may experience both complete and incomplete metamorphosis.
They've been shown to have mixed reactions to high frequency sounds such as hearing ads. Such sounds will either draw their attention or deter them away. They also have a strong addiction to cocaine, meaning that it may be used as bait in an ideal situation, and it appears they will not take notice of humans covered in cocaine, possibly because they smell like another Dragon Wasp.
