Dinoshark is a prehistoric shark that terrorized Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It appears in the 2010 movie Dinoshark which is a remake of the 1979 movie Up from the Depths.

Appearance
The Dinoshark is similar to a normal shark in overall body shape but differed heavily in many other areas. First off, it's skin is covered in scales and bony scutes like an ankylosaur, as opposed to a normal shark's tooth-like denticles, that render the creatures' entire body immune to all forms of damage. This biological armor protects all but the shark's eyes, which are its only weak spot. The creature's head and teeth are odd in that they are very dinosaurian in appearance, which in reality would be a disadvantage for an aquatic predator such as a shark.
