A Gorgon is a creature of Greek mythology. Although they do not have an official depiction, with their appearances varying even across Greek literature of the time, they are usually seen depicted in modern media as having a more Lamia shape - the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a snake. However, certain media depicts them differently, including poisonous cattle (which are more in-line with a Catoblepas). The best known example of a Gorgon is Medusa.
