Behind the Scenes |
Bloodsuckers are demonic entities resemble a trio of leeches fused together at the base, which writhe about like octopus tentacles. It appears that they are very rare, with Harry Mason only ever encountering them twice—once in Room 204 in the Otherworld version of Alchemilla Hospital, and once in a fridge in the kitchen of Nowhere. Their rareness however also seems to afford them invulnerability—no known method to kill the monsters has been discovered, yet they can be easily distracted with offerings of blood.
Symbolism[]
The Bloodsucker serves as the embodiment of Alessa's strong aversion to leeches, worms, snakes and other similar entities.
