Ackpows are a species of near-humans that were enslaved by Mimi, a minion of Count Bleck that was currently inhabiting Merlee's Mansion. Although they act high-and-mighty in truth Mimi forced their hands as they are in her debt like everyone else, making them keep the other, lower-class slaves are working and that they get paid in rubees once finished. Once Mario defeated Mimi, the Ackpows were released from their servitude.
They wear a short skirt and either a khat or a nemes headdress while wielding a whip that they use on lower-class slaves.

- The Ackpow are very similar to the system of work the Egyptians used. Their style of dress also reference the Egyptians as well.
